Glock Tritium Rear sight heights:
Glock +0: good for close range "combat hold" (sight covers target)
Glock +1: +1 is best for most 9/40 loads
Glock +2: +2 is best for most 45/357Sig/10mm
Glock +3: extra high: custom zero or longer ranges
 
Springfield XD Rear sight heights:
XD +1 similar to the standard "G" marked factory rear height
XD +2 higher rear: similar to factory "H" height
XD +3 Extra high: custom or long range zero
 
Sig Sauer Rear sight heights:
Sig Sauer +1 similar to Sig factory #8 front and #8 rear 
Sig Sauer +2 +2 similar to Sig factory #6 front and #8 rear
Sig Sauer +3 extra high for custom or long range zero

Will you be making Speed Sights for other brands?

The plan is to make Speed Sights Diamonds fit all handguns. As above, they are now available for Glock, XD/XDM and Sig Sauer.
High on the list are the 1911's with Novak cut sights, like the Kimber or M&P; we have also gotten requests for HK; Kahr, Ruger, Beretta and others.   
Send us an email with your request, it will help us to know what caliber to do next. Check the website for further production updates.

Are Speed Sights difficult to install?

The Diamond series installs like any other metallic sight. All Speed Sights come with instructions specific to your gun. There are a few tips that are important to know about. Please visit the Technical page for more details or call with your questions.  

Can I get a Tritium night sight set for just the front, and have standard, non-Tritium for the Rear?

Yes: you can purchase the front and rear separately so you can customize your sights. You can pick out what your need in the purchase section: "Buy Speed Sights"

Are Speed Sights adjustable for windage and elevation?

The rear sights are available in different heights to accomodate different calibers and custom zeros. The Rear sights can all be drifted left or right for windage.

My front sight has gotten coated with powder residue; how should I clean it?

The front sight is armored with a special protective coating that is resistant to solvents and water. Dab it with a Q-tip dampened with water to remove powder residue.
